A Centurion, A Widow's Son and a Sinful Woman- Matthew 8:1-13; Luke 7:11-17; 7:36-50

"God show me what you want me to know;
Let me be the wise man and not the foolish man.
Allow me to not just read these word,
But give me a chance to put them into practice. Amen"

Time and time again the stories of Jesus reminds us of who his character. Jesus extends helping hands to people that society would consider unworthy. A few times within this reading the people receiving the miracles told Jesus that they weren't worthy. So many times we expect things from God. We expect to get this or that thing from God when in all actuality we don't deserve anything. God sent His Son to die for us. How much more can you ask for? However, even though we are unworthy of the blessings of God, he still chooses to give us the gift of life. In his very last words in the book of Matthew, Jesus says, "...And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." What a promise!? Jesus has promised to be with us to the end of the age. What more can we ask for?
